I have an image in my head, of Severus in his deerstalker, saying " Come Malfoy, the games afoot" very well done.

Response from peskipiksi (Author of A Scandal in Bulgaria)

Lol. That's actually in the sequel!

Response from mick42 (Reviewer)

Lucy I read them in the right order.

A very well done parody. As a Holmes fan I utterly enjoyed it.

Response from peskipiksi (Author of A Scandal in Bulgaria)

Thanks.  You might also enjoy the sequel 'A Study of the Woman in Scarlet and Green' based on Doyle's 'Charles Augustus Milverton'.

Response from phoenix (Reviewer)

Thanks, I'll have to check that out. I think I didn't because I saw 'sequel of'. It's on my 'to read' list.

Very good! I can see Severus in a dear stalker hat.

Response from peskipiksi (Author of A Scandal in Bulgaria)

Thanks :) I can't decide which is worse, the hair or the hat!

Loved it, and glad the hex wore off so soon.  He'd have been intolerably smug had it lasted any longer.

Response from peskipiksi (Author of A Scandal in Bulgaria)

Oh, absolutely. I never quite worked out how Watson managed to put up with Holmes' smugness!

Very clever indeed.  Severus would have been a splendid Holmes, I agree.

Response from peskipiksi (Author of A Scandal in Bulgaria)

Thanks :) They were three splendid prompts!

Cute. I have all the Sherlock Holmes stories and I think that one is one of my favorites. ^_^

Response from peskipiksi (Author of A Scandal in Bulgaria)

Thank you - praise indeed! Once I got to Lucius' diary it pretty  much wrote itself.

Beautiful from front to back - I especially loved "The man tore the mask from his face and hurled it upon the ground. ‘You are right,’ he cried; ‘Why should I attempt to conceal my identity? ‘But you must understand that my situation is... delicate.’"

Response from peskipiksi (Author of A Scandal in Bulgaria)

Thank you.  This was a gift of a prompt and so many quotes from 'Bohemia' fitted it :)

Having recently read A Scandal in Bohemia this tickled my fancy. :)

Response from peskipiksi (Author of A Scandal in Bulgaria)

I am shamefully new to Sherlock Holmes, having read my first stories this year; bit addicted now! Glad you like my little effort :)

Response from sunny33 (Reviewer)

I read a couple just to find out what all the fuss was about, having never seen any of the TV episodes.  People keep posting about Sherlock this and John that on livejournal.  I didn't even know who the hell John was! (d'oh)  And Mycroft was a complete mystery until I finally gave in a looked it up. :D

Very good adaptation of one of my favorite Holmes stories. Now then, since a number of Sherlockians fantasize that Holmes and Irene Adler got together in spite of her marriage to Godfrey Norton, may I wish a similar outcome for Severus and Hermione?

Response from peskipiksi (Author of A Scandal in Bulgaria)

Thank you very much! I didn't know about that fantasy; it's a nice idea for a Potions under Duress - I'll have to think about that one. :)
