Years ago, I was in love with a man in my graduate program, and I thought we'd have years of reading and researching at each other's sides. About two months into the relationship, I realized what a limited human being he was: no reading outside of research in his field, no interests outside of his research other than what was on TV, and a terminal jones for soft-core porn on Cinemax. He wanted to marry me, and had plans to turn the second bedroom in my house into a "media center." This was a lovely story, but damn if you didn't give me horrible, terrible, AWFUL flashbacks. You know - I wrecked the keyboard on my last laptop when I first read this last year, which is why I didn't leave a review. Adored the fact that you turned fanon on its ear. However, if it were me, I'd be clearing out another room to function as my personal study and the money he'd expect me to spend on clothes and such? Books. Loads and loads of lovely books.

I'm assuming this was written before we knew tons about Snape, his background, ect, so this seems out of character somewhat for him, but I loved the idea behind the story, and find the turn of events quite funny. poor Hermione! she probably hates knightly lol.
