I never bookmark a story on the first chapter, so I was surprised to see that this was only updated to chapter 3. I had to re-read the first, wondering why I had bookmarked and was quickly reminded of why!!Now, I've read ch2 and am impressed all over again. This was very intense and held my interest completely [though I think my lunch was ruined by the sick room]. You've put a lot of thought into this and I'm off to read ch3!

That is one of the most horrible things I've ever read happening to Hermione. I hope to god Severus can help her.

Things look oh so very bleak for Hermione. Poor girl. What a horrible curse. To eat away at her mind and her magic - the two things she prizes the most - is a terrible fate indeed.It will be very interesting to see how this plays out.

What a bone-chilling chapter. Poor Hermione! I'm so glad that something inside her never gave up on Severus Snape. I'm certain he is amazed as well. I only hope he can help her... and soon!

I like that it's close to canon and i always love it when Hermione stands by her own impressions for Snape's character despite what has happened!
I also love that Hermione thinks outside the box enlisting Kreacher's help!

My stars how you have taken canon and twisted it. You go girl! Love Hermione's hope in Snape and her clever spell work. Only Hermione would work with Krecher like a partner. I adore that girl.

I like twisting canon just enough to keep it realistic and I hope I've done that with the story! Hermione makes such an interesting character--too pragmatic to really be a romantic, but too optimistic to really become a cynic. I think that's why she works so well in this story. It looks like both Severus and Hermione have quite a task in front of them (not like they didn't already have things to tackle... lol). I'm enjoying the intensity and the mystery, and I look forward to seeing how it continues to unfold! I also appreciated that sly reference to J.K. Rowling changing Hermione's middle name lol.
