Forgotten Death

she tried too hard

this child of darkness

her lies took over

she destroyed her world

with her unspoken words

her life on the streets

was full of pain

bruises covered her

as she struggled in vain

it continued this way

for days and days

'til there was no part of her life

that hadn't been torn

and in her last night

with her last breath

she cried out

"darkness overtake me

'cuz nothin' else matters now

everything was stolen

my body,heart,and soul

just let me die

let my pain end"
