No, I haven't abandoned it :) I have quite a bit posted on FF.net, but my beta has had some RL issues come up and I haven't had a chance to send the next chapters to her yet. So, more will be on the way... eventually.

How hard it must be to give one's child like that. I wonder what Severus will say when he learns the truth, as I'm sure he will one way or another.

I love it! I'm glad Ariadne doesn't resent against Hermione for leaving her. And that she knows about Severus is the sherry on the cake. I wonder what will be Sev's reaction when he discovers it all.
I am the mother of a wonderful 8 year old boy. We have had him since birth. He has known he was adopted from the beginning but is now starting to question us about why he was given up. Challenging times indeed.

Now that's Severus all right... ready to do whatever it takes to get what he wants. Hm. One gets the feeling, though, that obtaining Hermione as a Potions mistress isn't the only reason he wanted her back at Hogwarts. Romantic interest, or does Snape perhaps have an inkling about Hermione and her connection to Ariadne? I look forward to finding out.
