Very well written. Short, but touching. I can easily imagine McGonagall watching on in cat form. Like some sort of guardian angel. Only fluffier.

Thank you! I don't write a ton of fan fiction, but a good prompt will get me going. McGonagall in cat form was the bait for me. :)

Wonderful, I still love it. The imagery is so compelling and I love Minerva in cat form. You know how cats wash their ears when they get embarassed? I could see her leaving to avoid doing so.

Even though I'm not the greatest fan of the SS/HG pairing (I see him otherwise committed) still this was a charming and lovely little piece. I wish we'd see Minerva in cat form more often - it's one of her most intriquing characteristics. An elegant work - thank you !!

I rarely write that pairing, mostly because I find the ambiguity in other characters more fun to explore. I appreciate your review and am glad that you found it enjoyable. I agree with you that Minerva in cat form could get up to so much more!
