my catalyst into the world of hp fanfic was the ignominious death of severus snape by snakebite in dh. grrrrr. he deserved better, and i set off on a mission to find it! i appreciate and admire the vast and limitless creativity of all of the wonderful writers on this site and in this fandom.
accordingly, for me it's mostly about snape: ss/le, ss/hg, ss/rl are my favorite ships. i especially like happy endings for those who did not get them at the hands of jkr.

I usually don't sail this ship, but this story was so very charming. I loved the details about the jewelry and Lily's desire to prioritize shops and plan an itinerary. Lol, it makes me think of another young witch.Thank you for bringing life to the characters is such a real way. Hugs you!Stef

That made me cry, thinking about how things ended up. If he's just had more sweet moments like that, it might have been so very different. Look at me, crying over a fictional character!

heh - i hate to think of how many tears i've shed over severus. buckets every time i've read the prince's tale from dh, and i've read that chapter several times. i can't help trying to give him a little happiness before his sad ending. thanks so much for the review and the stars! :D
Funny - but the same thought went through my head - that he would have been embarrased at having no money in his pocket. It also occured to me that not only might this have been the first time Lily gave him a sweet little kiss, but very well might have been the first time ANYONE had ever done so.....

poor severus. so much to feel sad about there. in my version of events, i think his mum might have given him a few kisses, but i doubt anyone else had. thanks for the review and the pretty twinklies. :D

This is a very sweet tale, and made more delightful by your description of wizarding jewelry. Seemingly little touches like that add to the magic and richness of a story. Poor Severus, he probably has no pocket money. And the future doesn't bear thinking about. I am glad you have given him a happy memory.
