I like this but I'm confused about Jame's presence. Does that mean he will be friend with him in the Afterlife?

No, I don't think they'd ever be friends, but James is thankful for all Snape did for Harry. And with Lily by his side again Snape doesn't feel the all-consuming hatred towards James as much. I wanted Severus to find some peace.
