Poor Snape. I wonder how he can still keep going through all that. I know it's for the sake of humankind, but what of his own sake? I wish he did find a way out of this in the end, and that he is currently spending sweet days in a nice place somewhere.

That was absolutely wonderful!! I'm glad the prompt was at the end becuase reading those first couple sentences, I didn't know if Severus was going to be upset with Hermione about something, upset with a student, or ?? But then continuing my reading and seeing all the emotion and turmoil (and knowing that it MUST have been that way for Severus that night)... it was just so... ~sigh~ powerful.
