Ooh - I really liked that! A very nice interpretation of how the Mark reacts differently in the presence of others. And of course the rest of the story was very nice, too - excellent imagery, characterisation, etc. Well done, you!!!

How very compelling. Yet, I get the feeling Severus has found one he does not mind being "bound" to in this instance... his wife and his loving family. Though he does continue to be haunted by the mistakes of his past. I love your interpretation of his character and marvel at your ability to convey so much in so few words.
