Alcina vom Steinsberg's response: I do have many sympathies for him, I think he is mostly quite underrated - the teenager years can be really tricky, can't they? *g* But it simply fits his open and sometimes naive personality (in a positive sense) quite well to do something like this - but on the other hand, he does it, for his loved one. I'd prefer this rather than someone who is too proud and stiff to laugh about himself sometimes. (My personal Snape is able to, too, though only very privately, of course ;o) )

If only Ron had been a little quicker on the uptake, his poor bits might not have suffered so badly. I think Severus and Hermione, may be a lot warmer than Ron.
