I don't read Bill/Hermione much really, but this is a really great read. Simply wonderful. 

Firstly, I am glad that it wasn't a sappy sort of romance, much more real. Bill is yummy isn't he? I've always felt the Veela was a bit to prissy for him as well.

As for the nickname, I can only come to Hathor, the Egyptian mother goddess. But as she's usually depicted as a cow, I may be a bit off track?

Well, Hath is obviously short for Hathor, the egyptian cow goddess. She's the goddess of love, beauty, music, joy and women in childbirth.

Great little ficlet and characterisations. Not my usual pairing but I liked it. I'll leave the guess on her nickname as a shortened form of Hathor (on reading the reveiws PiperSnape gave an erudite explanation so i'll leave it there). Nice dispensation of Faye, Phlegm, Ron and his Weasley sperm! Although I'd say Bill would have the same type!

Hath was an Egyptian god, right? Loved the story and the progression. Especially that Ginny hexed Faye and Hermione got Ron once more with her infamous canarries! Nice romp(s) too!

Hathor was the mother goddess worshipped by all Egyptian women from the queen to the slaves and was usually depicted as either a cow or a woman with the head of a cow.

I think your title, 'The One Far Above' may either refer to her headress, which was a solar disk resting between her horns or to the legend that she protected the sun god Ra by transforming herself into Sekhmet, the lioness goddess. 

One other thing ... it's kind of funny in a way because Bill and Hermione first meet when both are intoxicated, and Hathor was also considered responsible for drunkenness in addition to pleasure, joy, women, motherhood and justice.

Speaking of justice, I have to admit I really enjoyed the justice meted out to Ron and his little tart.

WOW! I'm not so fond of the Weasley family, but I like Bill and Charlie most. And this is more than interesting. I particularly like the end. ANd the smut of course *grin and wink*
