Dishes Decided
Chapter 10 of 10
tobeactingHermione thinks about a large fight that she and Severus had.
ReviewedHermione was in complete shock. Not only had Severus kissed her but she had also sincerely enjoyed it and wanted him to do it again. She knew Severus. He was most likely berating himself for behaving so unlike his stoic persona. After gathering her jaw from the floor, Hermione went to find the dark man. It had gotten late and there was hardly anyone about. She figured he would head to his haven. The stairs seemed steeper. Hallways were longer. Eventually she found herself at the door to his rooms. She knocked without hesitation or fear. “Fancy meeting you here.”
…
“Miss Granger.” Severus was utterly shocked that she would so quickly come to rebuke him for his unwanted advances. “I must apologize. It was a mistake.”
“Severus, stop.”
His eyes were full of self-loathing. Hers were full of something he was unaccustomed to. No one had ever looked at him that way. Her hand slowly reached up and pulled his mouth down to meet hers.
“Don’t ever apologize for that again.” Once he realized what she meant, he fiercely pulled her to him.
Down the hall, Remus softly chuckled to himself. “Guess Harry will be doing dishes for a while.

Lovely story - I like the moving back and forth between Hermione and Snape.
YES! YES! YES! at last, my God he's hard work, but so worth it.
Well don't just sit there in a stupor girl, don't let him just kiss and run, get after him and snog him into submission ,
Someone needs to lock these two in a room , and let them fight untill they come to their senses, and admit they love eachother.
Hermione, take the compliment as an apologie, it may be as good as you get.
Severus quite the marksman, he never misses ,he always shoots himself in the foot.
Poor Severus, in the hands of yet another well meaning Griffindor.
To right Remus, it was a very low blow.
Somehow I don't think Hermione's hair is the problem, something else has gotten under Severus' skin.
Ignoring Severus sounds like a good idea, but it's easyer said than done.
Hermione is no better than Severus.
Yes! Courage and persistence pays off in the end.
this was truly deelightful. of course they would both be utterly obtuse.
They were a bit slow, but they figured it out. :)
Well, they got there in the end. It's amazing what silly little arguments can reveal.
Thanks for sharing!
Well, I think that should make things obvious to her now. Wow on the kiss, it says way more than words.
Oh jealousy and self-denial!
Oh silly, oblivious woman! I love that Ginny knows and knows Hermione should, but doesn't. The not so subtle hint still went partially over her head, as her subconscious is trying to reveal it to her. Well done!
Wow, Severus participated and let Hermione know her intelligence wasn't a motivator for his denial.
Ah, to the crux of the matter. At least he's admitting to himself that he likes her.
He he he, "manipulative" Remus sounds quite fun. He see's what Severus and Hermione don't see, doesn't he? (Gah, that sounded quite convoluted, didn't it?)
Ahahah. The letter to Ginny is so realistic! Love plans between girlfriends. I can see myself in that situation ^^
Intriguing start to your story. (Off to read more.)
This is a very nice ending. I'm glad you found it in you to finish this little tale.
Cute, thank you!
