It's charming and lovely and fluffy, and it made me chuckle quite a bit, but I would love to see this expanded into a multi-chapter fic.  (Which, I am aware, is unlikely; if you were going to write all the details of the adoptions, the tea, drinks, and dinner, and all that, you would have.  I'm just saying.)
