What can I say a 30 something mother of 1 who works as a clinical chemist in a path lab and has a 'thing', if its possible to have a 'thing' for a character, for a certain Potions Master.
RL has stalled the plot bunnies and I've no idea if/when I'll feel like writing again.

Isn't it amazing the things Ogden's Finest will bring to the fore? Severus and Hermione obviously fancied each other before they went to the celebration, and I can just imagine them finding themselves standing next to one another at some point in during the evening.... and he just decided to kiss her.... and she was a bit shocked but she liked it.... so she kissed him back! Makes perfect sense to me. I'd have kissed him back, too!I can't wait to see what you have in store for our favorite love birds. Very nicely done!!!Beth

Definitely they're both drunk and are admitting it in front of a reunion of pepole like them. What now. Will they still want to kiss each other when NOT drunk. I hope so. But the troubles that result surely will be fun.

This still does not explain why he had kissed her in the first place. He had kissed her. Fine. They had both liked it. Fine. But why? What had spurred him? They were both drunk. OK. But being drunk does not lead to kissing. Thoughts do. Freed by alcohol, but thoughts initiate kisses. So you were inspired by a song, but that inspiration does not get through to the reader, who has not heard it. Why did he kiss her?

First off thank you for leaving a comment.I would like to point out that this is still marked as a WIP, and thus there is still more to come.These first two snippets were a fun look, using a song as a basis, as to how Severus and Hermione may respond to their first kiss. I never intended to answer all the questions in the first two parts. I hope I will answer your why question in the next few chapters.

You also like this song.I first would have thought you used a girl. but no, it was the undeserving never human Severus, that is decending himself to kiss a girl. And even like it! And being kissed back!Thank you!This will humm in my ears for the rest of the day. And everytime I hear that particular song again, I will have a completely different picture before me than before I read this.soo funny.

I hesitate between ROFL and AWWW. The last line sounds like the Anonymous Alcoholics which made me snort. And the fact he realized that Hermione may not be the little infuriating creature he thought she was and that she may be worth the try is just cute. Wait impatiently for next .

Short and sweet - my favourite combination! Liked this one a lot; especially had to grin at the "I kissed a girl, and I liked it" part. Who else he would kiss? A broom??
