What can I say a 30 something mother of 1 who works as a clinical chemist in a path lab and has a 'thing', if its possible to have a 'thing' for a character, for a certain Potions Master.
RL has stalled the plot bunnies and I've no idea if/when I'll feel like writing again.

That is lovely and depicts the two children exactly like JKR did. I love the idea that Severus learned to fly from Lily.

I love stories about Severus' childhood that show him happy and having a good time. Lord knows there are so few of these stories around... good for you for giving us this wonderful glimpse of a happy interlude in his life!!!Beth

JK painted such a dark picture of Severus' childhood in the Prince's tale chapter of DH, I can't believe that his childhood was all bad, especially when he found an friend in young Lily.Sav :D

It is rare to see Sev so happy, but I can't believe that his childhood was all doom and gloom. I remember being scared and then totally elated when I first built up the courage to 'fly' off the swing. :D

Very cute. I remember back in my school days being a daredevil and flying off the swing myself. I'm such a scardy cat now I can't even imagine doing it, let alone that I did it at the tender age of seven or eight! Lol. Of course, I didn't have magic, so I couldn't fly as far as these two, but it was still great fun.

Thanks for leaving a review.Yes we are all a lot less fearful when we are younger. I loved jumping off the swing and that memory with bemoan1000 lammenting the lack of Sev flies fic gave birth to this little drawble.

Ah I love this it reminds me of learning to swing I was so scared but once I got the hang it was amazing and jumping off was the greatest feeling. Well done.
