Hm, I assumed that Sirius was the author of both lovebites, teasing his two dark-haired lovers (Harry and Hermione) about them, and that both partners (Ginny and Ron) were in blissful ignorance, which explains why Ron's not blushing. But of course your story leaves room for other interpretations.
