very interesting premise.  well written except for quote:  <<“That’s blackmail!”...“Yes it is.” >>  if you want to get technical, it's extortion - blackmail involves money.  still, i'm looking forward to seeing the next chapter and finding out what happens to severus.

A time turner fic!  That is one of my favorite kinds.  This one is full of suspense already!  Poor Severus!  I wonder where and when he ends up.

I think it would be interesting to have him re-Sorted.  Perhaps in this new time stream, Slytherins are different than what we're used to.  Wow, you've opened up a lot of opportunities for this story.  I look forward to seeing what you do with it.

I am quite confused by this alternate universe you've created, but it's quite intriguing and I'm looking forward to where you will lead this.

I remember back in the 70s, when I was in college, reading an essay about time travel theories.  I always disliked the theory Flitwick has proposed here, because if there are infinite variations on a time line, somewhere there is a me that is not lucky and happy.That is a silly reason to dislike a time travel theory.  Anyway, this story is wonderful, but what happend to Severus Snape in this timeline?  perhaps he was never born, and that is what attracted him to land in this stream which did not hold his duplicate.  (there's a good idea.)  Perhaps he was killed as a child.  or born a squib.Looking forward to more!  thank you for sharing this wonderful tale

I must say, this is fascinating. I don't think I've read any thing that has used the time turner as a springboard to alternate realities. I've always liked your writing, looking forward to reading more of this.

Very interesting bit of theory there, sounds quite like a physics theory I read about a while back. I like how everyone's so similar to their counterparts and yet seem different, too. I sort of wonder whether this is the "time stream" in which what might have happened had Riddle been given the DADA post years and years ago. Just my idea, ya. ^_^ Enjoying and looking forward to the next installment.
