I am 26 years old, recently married. I absolutely adore the world of Harry Potter, and love fanfics. My favourite pairing is SS/HG.
My husband doesn't understand it, but he accepts it (grudgingly!)

The 'Levels' was the icing on the cake for me ;)
I think his new grading system is working better on Hermione then the old one :)))
Loved your story. Thank you.
Love happy ending too much I think. That was a very nice story

cute ending. I like your bringing in a new set of 'levels' for Severus. Very amusing. Thanks for a sweet story, glad that Severus decided to come back to the UK.

What a good story. I have enjoyed this since the first chapter was posted and was so happy to see it completed. I love a good, fun, light story. Thanks!

"She should have known a Potions master could cook as well."
Sweet story. And he cooks in so many ways. My kind of Severus.

I think I will like very much to read about their cohabitation. I wonder at what point he won't be able to avoid touching her .... hair ;D. Very nice work so far.
Response from Shadow (Author of Picking up the Pieces)
Nope, he should not be able to hold back on touching her ...hair for very long at all! Thanks for reviewing.
Ooooohhhh! They remembered their daugher, Hermione! Thanks for this tale. it grows more and more interesting.
Response from Shadow (Author of Picking up the Pieces)
Thanks. Glad I can keep you reading!
Hmm Stark naked Sev, definitely do NOT need the brain scrubber for this one ;P
Response from Shadow (Author of Picking up the Pieces)
Nope. I would not mind one of those either!
Now weren't they supposed to have forgotten that they have a daughter??? This is developing quite nicely...
Response from Shadow (Author of Picking up the Pieces)
They were indeed! Glad you are enjoying this.
Uh oh! Wendell and Monica aren't supposed to have a daughter, are they? What on earth could have happened!? I am looking forward to finding out.
Response from Shadow (Author of Picking up the Pieces)
Thank you. More soon.
I loved the whole level 4 glare - so practiced - it was just priceless when she ignored him. Severus gets himself all worked up in a snit thinking that she was there to find him- good writing. What a cliffie at the end - what is in the bathroom !!! I cannot wait for chapter 3.
Response from Shadow (Author of Picking up the Pieces)
Thank you. I think Hermione may be the only one who would just look at him and ignore him. More soon.
Ooo what made her scream? Can't wait for an update
Response from Shadow (Author of Picking up the Pieces)
Thank you. Next chapter is in the queue.
Oh, this is a fun story!
I loved the line “… back in his nasty Potion master disguise, complete with scary glare.” And also that Snape has categorized his glares into levels. Why am I not surprised?
And please keep us updated! What made Hermione scream??
JadeResponse from Shadow (Author of Picking up the Pieces)
Yip, I could also see Snape giving glare levels. Glad you are enjoying it. More soon.
This is so exciting. I need to have more soon. Please.
Response from Shadow (Author of Picking up the Pieces)
Thank you! More should be coming soon!
More, More, More ... please! Don't leaveus hanging at what looks to be a very intriguing story!
Response from Shadow (Author of Picking up the Pieces)
Thank you! More should be up soon!
I'm glad the breakup happened at the beginning. This seems interesting.
Response from Shadow (Author of Picking up the Pieces)
Yip. Had to get rid of the irriatingly selfish Ron as soon as possible!
curiouser and curiouser....
Response from Shadow (Author of Picking up the Pieces)
Thanks. More soon.
Aha! I knew I had read it before and I was right! The most recent exchange!!! Ron remains a prat.
Response from Shadow (Author of Picking up the Pieces)
Yip. The most recent exchange indeed. Ron is a selfish, immature prat!
This is the perfect way to begin a story- Ron's an immature ass and Severus gets to help the fair Maid Hermione. Hopefully Hermione wakes up and impresses Severus with a host of inappropriate language!
Response from Shadow (Author of Picking up the Pieces)
Thank you. Next chapter is in the queue, and you shall see how the fair Maid Hermione reacts to being in the residence of the unimpressed Severus Snape!
Yes it was rather inconsiderate to collapse right there in the middle of his shop! She could have waited and done it outside! Nice characterisations so far (all three are well done). And what a comparison - a homely Snape and a whinging Ron - if she goes for Ron she has kangaroos loose in the top paddock! But is the cook of those delightful aromas a Mrs. Snape EEK!Well I'll confess that having a story located in Sydney has got me even more interested (At this point my inner Gryffindor is going Aussie! Aussie! Aussie! Oi! Oi! Oi! and being roundly sneered at and otherwise trying to be ignored by my inner Slytherin). I'm imagining that his shop is in one of the little alleyways that are in the older ('The Rocks') part of Sydney. Will you take them to King's Cross(Red light district)? The northern beaches (Snape in a cozzie! - aka swimming costume/trunks/Boardies)?...Mwwahaha!OK back to reality here. Great start and I am keen to read more. If you are not an Aussie/been here and want help (?) with the 'Aussie' bits/ pieces/'isms' give me an e-owl (I live about 10 hours from Sydney, but have visited there a few times), otherwise I will sit back and just enjoy anyway!Cheers, ReetsP.S. to all you fellow Aussies out there: OK it's laid on a bit thick, but it's all in the name of fun! He He!
Response from Shadow (Author of Picking up the Pieces)
Thanks, Reets. Nope, I am not an Australian, rather I am 100% South African *ducks flying objects from the Aussies*Unfortunately, all my Aussie information came from some internet research, so I hope I won't dissapoint too much. Thanks for your offer to help. I would love any constuctive critiscism as to how well/badly I have done on my Australian scenes.
Fun start. I look forward to seeing how Severus handles the heap of Hermione at his feet. Thanks for posting here, JoAnne
Response from Shadow (Author of Picking up the Pieces)
Thank you for reading! Severus? Well he will handle it in his own Snapish way!
