That was beautiful. My heart aches, yet...*sigh*
I had bookmarked « Pomegranate Seeds » a long time ago, and I’m very glad I finally got to read it. It has a haunting atmosphere, and the refraction of canon characters is fascinating. I especially loved the Malfoys, “who are here because Draco will come here,” and the interaction of Tonks and Remus. You have a very unique voice and imagination.Of course, the ending is just right - it couldn't have been otherwise.

Hermione chose Death!I am shocked!I really thought she was coming back WITHOUT him, but definitively coming back... What a twist!Wonderful story!
Apparently, Hermione is not having progress with Snape... Your depiction of the Underworld is really unnerving!Eagerly waiting next chapter!
It seems Severus is remembering his life now but everyone else does not and he is angry again - she has taken away his peace. Cannot wait to see what happens next.
So I gather Hermione is being consumed by guilt for not saving Prof. Snape's life and she has been spending the last 10 years trying to rectify that error. Now that she is in the Underworld, which is a truly disturbing place, and has revealed what his life was like, she has alienated him. It appears those memories might not be retained if Remus and Tonks are anything to go by. I have been thinking that even if she can convince Severus to return to the living world, this is his soul in the Underworld is it not? He does not have a body to return to.

You are very astute, and I'm incredibly appreciative of your thoughtful (and long! hehehe) review. You've hit the nail on the head for quite a few things. I'd still wait for the ending chapter though, it might conclude a bit differently than expected. ;)Thanks so much!

Interesting thoughts were presented in this chapter. I'm looking forward to seeing what will happen next.
I'm really intrigued by this story, great concept! I don't know how far you want to go into other details with the story but it would be neat to show readers other parts of the Underworld (where the Death Eaters are?). But anyway, I can't wait for the next chapter :)
Oh this is horrible.Yipes! Not your writing--this is a great story, I'm hooked... horrible that these once lively people are going through this in the afterlife like this! I'm very sad right now.Poor Hermione, I'd be so scared and alone...Hopefully things will get better, but perhaps not...
This is so strange to see these people like this... it's like a large fraction of their soul has left them. It's almost really sad... you would think there would be more to it than that. And why ARE L and N there... and Sev...
Wow... they are so not full of life anymore down there... except Sirius, which I really adore your explanation about why he is like that... very clever.I have a feeling that some not good things are going to happen with her down there and the wand.
So... she got in. But her body is half in the arch and half out... And I think you are doing a really good job describing the underworld because that is a place no one knows about and so it's up to your imagination... very well done. And thank goodness Ginny believes in her.
OH, she's into some heavy dark magic! I'm impressed that she was able to finish something Dumbledore started...I wonder what happened with her and Ron.And I love the potrait idea... it's like he is still alive somewhere and that's why his potrait won't wake up.
sad! she 'needs him to be angry' and now he's just fading away. and i see there's just one chapter left to tie it all up. i'm glad it won't be a long wait - i feel very anxious to find out what's going to happen.
Damn, and here I thought Hermione was going to make progress with Severus, but now he's fading. I see that the next chapter is already in the queue, and I can't wait until it's posted. If anything, I would've thought either Moody or the Malfoys would have advice for Hermione.

Wow. I started reading your story and couldn't stop till now. A very fresh idea: what would be like on the other side of the veil? I am eagerly waiting an update!
I'm glad that Severus is finally himself -- or what I think of him to be himself! I wonder if he will choose to go back with Hermione... Good job!
I'm really enjoying this story so far. Hermione thinks she's doing Severus a favor by trying to bring him back, but instead she's causing a lot of trouble. Even though it's unintentional. It would appear in this last chapter that Severus remembers everything that happened. I hope Hermione's able to work things out with him. I'm looking forward to seeing what happens next. Does Severus go back to the living world, or does he stay?

Sirius was always a troublemaker. I see that hasn't changed. I'm really enjoying this story, BTW. :)*turns page*
Oh, how sad for the Lupin family!*sniffs**turns page*GG
Interesting...*turns page*GG
“Who’s the wise man? Dumbledore?”“No.”The flat answer was the only response Remus offered. When Hermione looked up at Severus for clarification, he only glanced back with the ghost of a smirk around his lips.LOL! Too funny!GG
Oh bless! You've done right by him. Thank you! This is wonderful to read. *turns page*GG
Hmmmm... did remus and tonks forget?Poor Sev.will things ever get better??
