Thank you! I'm very glad you enjoyed it. Once I've finished RaM (and I'm glad you liked the tie-in with that last chapter posted there), I think I'm going to stick to one-shots and short stories with only a few chapters. I am writing a sequel to AAoL, but it's not going to be as long as AAoL -- and certainly not as long as RaM!

If you like hot MMAD stuff, you should read "An Act of Love" -- lots of hot MMAD in it -- especially chapters 13 & 14, but I recommend the whole thing, even though it's sort of a Severus-Snape-story.

It would have been great if JKR had seen fit to actually put gay characters IN THE BOOKS. And that's all I have to say about that, LOL! And this is fanfic -- if people can slash clearly straight characters such as HP & DM, then other characters whose sexuality is never clear IN THE BOOKS can be paired in any way that seems to work well, if people enjoy them and want to write them and read them.  I don't see people up in arms about SSHG even though SS dies (rather ignominiously and without a struggle) and HG marries Ron, as was clear from practically book one was going to happen. Fortunately, I think that folk on TPP are open-minded. I hope so, anyway!

My thoughts and sentiments exactly.  What's the point of making Albus gay if no-one had a clue in the entire series?  It seems a waste of what people are calling this great experience.  I mean she did have an awesome opportunity to have a beloved openly gay character and all we got was a beloved character who for all intents and purposes appeared to be straight.

Finally, I have read An Act of Love and it was a very hot sex scene and I'm very sorry if I didn't review at the time.  I try to review after reading but sometimes I'm tired and think I will do that when I get up in the morning but I've already forgotten.

I agree bout SS. I do think that he had some really bad aspects to his character and wasn't an unambiguously "good guy," and I would have been really surprised if he had "survived" book 7, but I thought his manner of death was just unworthy. Not that he would have had to have jumped in front of an AK to save HP (or whomever), but the manner of his death was really . . . not what I would have had for him. But I also think that almost all of the characters in DH seemed OOC compared to their development over the course of the series -- as though they were shoe-horned into the plot and moved about like cardboard cut-outs. *shrug* Well, we all know how JKR has her series worked out, so, on with fanfic!

That was just sooooo..... beautiful.... the only way I can think to describe it, I love how they both can be completely honest with eachother, and that Albus allows her to push him.
