All Things in Retrospect

Sometimes we look back at our past

The long road we’ve traveled on

Wondering about choices that we’ve made

Were they right or were they wrong?

Has destiny lead us down this path?

Were there signs along the way

That we passed too fast to notice

If we’d stopped would we have stayed?

Has every moment of our past

Led us straight to this?

And have there been so many signs

That on the way we’ve missed?
