Well done. I enjoyed this setup and style of this story. Fun read. And beautiful butterfly.
Good characterization of Theo. Sneaky Xenophilius. Makes one wonder about the background of Hermione previously observing Theo and her thoughts, but that's a different kind of story. Good pace and rhythm to the narrative.

Love re-reading this, each time I just love the whole flow and revelation and evolution of Theo's discoveries about not just Lepidopterist matters, but his discovery of Hermione, and her of him. On expedition with Xeno, this is just wonderful! And again, 'My Granger, she was perfect (...) beyond perfect; she was brilliant'--just love the journal style entries--allowing us to witness his secrets--lovely work!
