I know this review comes a bit late -- I don't know WHY I didn't before, because this lovely piece is so very deserving of praise! Too often HG/RW are either too smarmy for words or Ron becomes an overgrown two year old incapable of anything other than helpless immaturity prone to nasty and even violent outbursts. To read this simple, lovely and soul-deep vignette goes a very loooooong way to reducing the "How did THAT happen?" conundrum of the original epilogue. My deepest thanks - and kudos - to you! Very well done!
