And they all lived happily ever after, the dragon  has his bells, " the girls have the treasure, and Draco has the silver rose for his darling wife, { not to mention the photo shoot to look forward to }

So much detail from such a short prompt.

Response from Fairfield (Author of The Bell, the Rose, and the Dragon)

Thanks.  Draco did overcome all the obstacles, especially the girls, and it all did end well.

I rather like the short prompts: let the imagination roam.

Poor Draco, but at least he got the rose and traded the dragon bells for treasure

Response from Fairfield (Author of The Bell, the Rose, and the Dragon)

It was a close call, but in the end, he performed a noble deed.

I'm thrilled at what you can come up with just three little words. It's wonderful (and hilarious). Brilliant job!

Thanks.  I almost abandoned the story halfway through as being too tame, but then I thought of the dragon chase sequence.

*snicker* You really don't expect Slytherin cunning from Gryffindors and Ravenclaws, do you? Especially these Gryffindors and Ravenclaws. Love the side issue of the lingerie models. Really cute story. The baby dragon made me say "Awwww". ^_^

Response from Fairfield (Author of The Bell, the Rose, and the Dragon)

Thanks.  I wasn't certain about writing another Draco-and-the-girls story.  All the girls' cunning plans fall apart, and the side issue saves them.

Your Luna is pretty cool in this and your Draco made me snigger!

Response from Fairfield (Author of The Bell, the Rose, and the Dragon)

The inspiration for the Draco-and-the-girls stories is Wodehouse.

Lovely, cheeky, and playful--it has a wonderful fairy tale arc to it from introductory poem to final commentary by Draco the Brave and Good Sport--yes, yes, I 'get' and enjoy thoroughly the Wodehouse effect with Draco and his damsels--Draco comes across to me with much more keen reasoning than the sometimes feathered-brained Bertie--though both are sweethearts, endearing, and so delightfully good-natured---lovely work!

Response from Fairfield (Author of The Bell, the Rose, and the Dragon)

Glad you like the portrayal of Draco even though he is almost yanked out of character.  Draco may be the only one in canon who has the needed combination of vulnerability, pluck, and sensibility.
