Okay, so I've finally found time to leave some reviews. That was a great and, ehm *coughs* hot story. LOL! As I said in a review for "Graduation" by my little secret, I really love that concept of mind reading, and this special kind of intimcy. I've started reading fanfiction with Star Wars and mind reading is often used there. These stories were always my favourites.And I'm impressed by Hermione, brewing a potion under these conditions. LOL! But only fifteen points for that? LOL!

As you are aware, I love this story! In my opinion, it's the hottest fic in fandom!

A lonely mind in an imprisoned body reaches out for its soul mate, which is literally possible in the magic world.

Both characters believe themselves misunderstood and hence unappreciated since everyone sees only a small part of them.

Partly it is the standard bad boy and good girl with the bad boy possessing affection in addition to his stern qualities and the good girl possessing passion and naughtiness in addition to her outwardly conforming personality.

There is the expression of extremes with the wizard combining authority and masculine dominance with affection and tenderness and the witch taunting him into doing so.  There is some playful role-reversal.  A romantic and passionate relationship is presented in all its complexity.  

There are some fantasy elements.  The ‘difference between boys and men’ is not examined to reveal that Hermione must be one of a long list and possibly she is only one among many, nor is it examined to question whether or not the relationship is in stasis with the woman not contributing to the evolution of her mate as a lover or a person.  The bad boy aspect of the wizard is presented as a necessary response to a harsh world and as only part of his personality instead of the external manifestation of a cold and callous nature.

Returning to the first two points, the bathtub scene does not have the wizard saying he knows and accepts the entire girl which appears to be the driving motive for the story: the characters wondering if anyone can comprehend and accept all the facets of their being.  But one might take that as implied in lieu of making the story heavy-handed.

Finally, this is not smut.  It is two lonely souls crying out and finding each other with the erotica illustrating the height, depth, and breadth of their relationship.  And this includes the teasing in the last chapter.
