It is an interesting theme for a poem, and I can relate to the depressing atmosphere.I have experienced two different school systems (the Scottishand the German) and I can relate to that. The pressure from teachers was the problem in Scotland. They constandly reminded you that if you're not top notch you will not get into university (it started when I was about eight). German teachers are quite different. They get payed by the state, are undismissable and earn a stable (and quite high) wage. So they don't care if the students learn any thing. Good thing I'm not in school anymore.
