I like it! I haven't seen many other stories -- or indeed any, although no doubt there are some which I simply haven't read -- featuring a friendship between Professor Sinistra and a centaur. This is surprising, considering that both Sinistra and the centaurs devote their time to studying the stars (albeit in slightly different ways). Granted, the only non sequitur in this story was the fact that Firenze was the one who brought the marshmallows...it's a little hard to imagine a centaur eating something that artificial (then again, maybe spending so much time around humans is starting to rub off on him).

I would imagine it either was one of two things: either a guilty secret vice or he brought them for her. It amazed me, too, once I wrote it. The image came so quickly, I'm not even sure I knew what was what until it was finished. But the friendship does make a certain kind of sense. Thanks for the read and review.
