"The man above him spoke in a tongue Percy could not understand: ejaculating in hisses and whispers and glottal stops."

That is an excellent line!

Personally, I think there's more to Percy (and Wormtail, for that matter) than we are led to believe.  But, that's only my opinion, and he does strike me as somewhat submissive.

Response from notsosaintly (Author of Servitude)

*lol*  No kidding.  I wrote this because a) I really don't like Percy and b) he really isn't portrayed enough in a good or bad light.  I chose the not-so-favorable version.

Just as good a read as the first time.

Response from notsosaintly (Author of Servitude)

Thanks. *lol*

Percy is a bounder and will do anything to get want he wants. He leaves a bad taste in my mouth, so I thought I would return the favor. ahahhaa... i agree!! What a fitting job for the loser. Even in HBP, he was still an arse.

Response from notsosaintly (Author of Servitude)

He was an even bigger arse in HBP. That book justified this story.southern_witch_69's response: definitely agree. only going b/c that new bloke made him... grrrr

Very interesting read.

Response from notsosaintly (Author of Servitude)

No one reads this story. LOL Should have known it was you. *wink* This was a slam on Percy. Can't stand Percy.

Response from notsosaintly (Author of Servitude)

I had to rewrite this story. After reading through it again, I realized how rough it actually was. Slam on Percy or no, it deserved to be *ahem* polished up a bit.

I knew Percy was a hard worker, but this goes to new heights! I hope his reward is worth it in the end. Or maybe he is enjoying it too much? Probably.

Response from notsosaintly (Author of Servitude)

*lol*  I never thought of it as Percy being a hard worker.  I was just giving him a little payback for being such a prat.  But you'r right; he probably did like it.

I can't stand Percy either and I agree it's a shame Percy probably did enjoy it.  If someone in my family had acted like he did to his family; all the rest of my family would gang up and beat the shite out of them.  Maybe if all the other sons of Molly had Percy would have turned out better or at least feared for his life some.  lolTamara

Response from notsosaintly (Author of Servitude)

Wow.  You meant it when you said you were going to read from the beginning.  This story gets very few readers.  It was so evil of me to torture Percy like this....   Well, maybe not.

Have to agree with you regarding Percy's willingness to do whatever it takes to achieve his goals, at the sacrifice of others. He would have been ripe for Death Eater recruitment, and I'm amazed that didn't come up in the books.Another well-written.Elura

Response from notsosaintly (Author of Servitude)

Wow, I am surprised you read this one.  Not too many people do.  I wrote it as a statement that Percy would do whatever it takes at the sacrifice of others, thereby showing exactly what I thought of him.  I don't even care that JKR eventually has him coming back and apologizing.  It was like tying up a loose end in one way after developing his character in another.
