Just another wayward copywriter chewed up and spit out from the merciless world of advertising. Oh, and my writing for the most part centers around a fabulously snarky, drop-dead sexy dark wizard. He's my not-so-secret obsession.

Hufflepuffs aren't exactly the brightest. Bless their little hearts.Glad you enjoyed it!
Oh loved the marshmellows. Of course Ron was clueless about what Hermione was saying, but that's normal. Poor, Earle. I hope the Headmaster can help him.

The marshmallows did make for a fun prop. As for Ron, well let's just say he's a hopeless case anyway you put it. Anyway, Hufflepuffs have an odd way of landing on their feet. :)Thanks for reviewing!
Poor Earle. His is only a dunderheaded Hufflepuff after all. Hope Albus might do something.

Poor little gullible Hufflepuffs. The poor dears just never seem to catch a break. *sniff*Thanks for reviewing!
That was really interesting. I like your take on the prompt.

As the prompt suggested a reversal role regarding the dark revels, I decided to take an absurdist approach. Hence, the Hufflepuff Deatheater being pelted by marshmallows.Glad you enjoyed the story. :)

“The term ‘shanghaied’ refers to a ploy the Chinese used to lure unwary men into forced labor aboard ships by getting them drunk,” Hermione explained.
Uh, actually it was a term coined in the U.S., primarily in the West and Northwest. It was a rather dark way of crewing ships headed to Eastern Asia.
That said, it was a good, funny read!
Author's Response: Oh, you're right. That's my history lesson for the day. :)
Glad you enjoyed the story.
*sporfle* It looks as though drinking games inspired a few of us last night *G* Very funny. Love the marshmallows.

Several scenarios when through my mind when I first read the prompt. The plot bunny especially liked the idea of a Hufflepuff Deatheater being pelted with marshmallows. Seemed fitting.Thank you for reviewing and I'm glad you enjoyed the story.
