He shares in their adventure and then takes points from them?  Horrid, horrid man indeed - and perfectly in character.  I love the way you are writing Snape!  I'm glad to see Hermione is standing up to him.   I am also enjoying the humor - there are some really funny lines in this chapter.

Quite an interesting twist. Now I see why the day with Severus was how you had it - it made it easier for her to be near him. I'm surprised by her confession, but I have to admit - you have them both absolutely canon-like perfect!

I'd have to say, of all the 'forced to be together' days I've read this one was hellish!  And very canon!  I'm with Hermione, I'd be glad it was over too. I mean, the prat didn't even offer her tea!

Very interesting look on Severus' life form his POV. I really liked his opinions on Dumbledore and Pettigrew.

Oooooh was he there to protect her? or was it coincidence? It was so odd that he just stood aside and let her pas. And then for her to be all jittery with guilt. Ha!

Awesome! So many good insights in this chapter! I loved this : Severus had no doubt that Peter had been placed with him as a precaution, reminding him that while the Dark Lord might say outwardly that his faith in Severus was complete, it was known that Voldemort truly trusted no one, not even Severus.

And now Hermione is suffering from the Wizarding equivalent of jet-lag!  And now she's even more clearly on Professor Snape's radar with her remarks concerning Dumbledore...I do hope that we'll get a brief look from Sev's POV regarding what he saw in her mind, and his thoughts on how she was able to throw him out of it.  Had he been given the instructions to attempt to teach Harry to Occlude in this timeline?  I would normally guess that he had, since Hermione was aware of Legilimency, but she's so terrifyingly well-read that it doesn't necessarily follow!
