Quite true. I can just see a rather angelic Tonks pouting on a cloud while Remus runs off with Sev.
They seem so happy together. But I'm surprised Severus didn't get more jealous.

The prompt asked that the drabble/snapshot be canon compliant. I think by this point, Severus was pretty resigned to not surviving. So, not so much jealousy. Plus I think it kind of suits his Slytherin need to know something that someone else doesn't. Thanks for the review.
This is a simple and lovely snapshot. It fits seamlessly with the books, yet: what a difference! I love it. They are comradely and warm, and it is good to see them with a moment of happiness. Thank you.
