Should get interesting fairly quickly, I'd say.

I loved it! i enjoy the sentence structure, some of the sentences are more poetry than simple editorial pros, especially in the first few paragraphs when describing Snape's feelings and word. it was easy to get lost in the chapter and completely focus on the blossoming story. good work!

I like the confrontation between Severus and Hermione. There seems to be a lot of tension :)

Interesting beginning. All involved seem very much in character so far. I love seeing the trio all grown up and Snape's usual tactics rendered useless.

this is an awesome start.  i LOVE snape/hermione stories with ron in them.  i'm not exactly a huge ron fan lol.  and as someone already stated, hermione's definitely trying to convince herself of her happiness more than severus.  she'll come around; i have faith, she's a clever young witch lol.update, and quickly!

i love this just as much as i did the first time i read it.  so witty and snarky.  that first sentence puts a huge grin on my face that does not leave throughout the chapter.  and i really appreciated how effortlessly you included the prompt words and wove them seamlessly into your chapter.  the fact that i had to ask you to remind me which words you chose shows that your usage was not at all forced or awkward - a real plus in my opinion.

Brilliant start Lady_Tuesday. It does leave one to wonder who Hermione is trying so hard to convince of her happiness, Severus or herself. I thought Hermione's attack of Severus was unprofessional and out of line - just because he needled her did not mean she could say that to him, isn't she suppose to be his counsellor?

Fabulous start!!  I especially love Snape's opinions of the "nimrod," "that gormless hair pile"!  And the fact that, while he has Hermione's number, she has his as well is priceless!  He does sound rather jealous.  But perhaps he should listen to himself--she would be wasting herself on a bloke who thinks he's got the key to a romantic night with an order of fish & chips.  Surely our Professor can do better!Great quote to start with, as well, by the way.

great beginning if you're thinking of continuing, if not, then i am disappointed about the ending. i think this would be a great multi-fic.  

Oooh, the tensionin the air. I loved how she slammed his hatred of James in his face, although that was rather cold. But he had it coming. You threw me off with the name Sartre.  Figures that Malfoy got off easily, and Severus' grumbles were so true. Wonder where you're taking this one?

Nice start.  A jealous Snape usually ends up being a good thing.  Hopefully that will be the case here.  You do feel a bit bad for him and his lack of privacy, as well as the inequity of punishments doled out post war.  Still, if you can't follow the rules, you suffer the consequences. You'd think he would have learned that by now.  Maybe he is going for the bad boy persona... apparently the ladies like that ;)  Looking forward to finding out what life has in store for our favorite couple!

Oh, Severus is jealous alright... but leave it to the Half-Blood Prince of Snark to make things difficult not only for everyone around him, but himself as well.
