HP will always be my original fandom, but these days you'll often find me trundling about in manga/anime fandoms. No OTPs (or OT3s), and gen is always nice.
I’ve hopscotched my way across the States and currently live someplace cold. Very cold. With wind. I keep telling myself it's a character building experience.
Proud parent of an adorable house rabbit and two clingy cats. Mostly a beta, occasionally an author. You can find me at slytherinlaurel.livejournal.com and slytherinlaurel.tumblr.com. Stop by and say hi!

I truly enjoyed reading this story; I felt Draco's and Hermione's pain, their confusion, laughed at Cissy's chat with Narcissa and was joyful when you protrayed the happy ending they have.A truly wonderful story, all the more intense because it is told in the present tense.

Thank you! It's wonderful to know that you enjoyed the story and the different elements I used. These are complex characters in a complicated situation, but I very much wanted a light at the end of their tunnel.
This was a lovely, tender story. The premise of tragedy bringing them together in a logical manner was sad, but a happy ending burst forth nonetheless.Your style is unusual, author, in that you write in the present tense. Do you normally do that?

With this story I decided to push myself on a number of fronts to see what I could really do. I understand very keenly that tragic things happen, but also that all is not lost. It's great to know that I was able to bring that to the story.Thank you!
Beautiful. This seemed so real... No artificial love from the first date... yada, yada, yada. Very nicely done.

Thank you! I'm so glad the realism worked. Neither of these characters seemed to me like the type to rush headlong into an impulsive romance.
Really nice.

Thank you! I'm glad you enjoyed it.
Beautifully done. I liked that they did not suddenly fall in love at first, but it took time and patience, :)

True love to me always takes time and requires effort. Very few things worth having ever come easily. Thank you for reading and taking the time to review!
This was a wonderful story, really, really wonderful.

A beautiful story, though painful to read. <sob>

My heart broke to write a few of these scenes, but I felt they were very much a part of the characters' journey. Thank you!
really good story

I'm so glad you liked it! Thank you for reviewing.
Different and beautifully done. I think it was clever to have an event which caused them both to lose spouses at the same time instead of coming up with convoluted events causing them both to become single around the same time.

Thank you! I wanted to go a completely different direction with the MLC and thought it would be interesting to bring them together this way.
Beautiful! I am happy they made a truly new family together. Kisses =]
