Hello all, I am a 53 year old from NZ. Although SSHG is how I started and still my main pairing, I'll give pretty much any pairing a try, whether it be reading or writing. Sev and Herms need a bit of variety at times. ;)

Ha! I really enjoyed this, odd as it was. It was a bit dark, and a bit foreboding. Especially the rather threatening 'quack' at the end. I don't know entirely what to make of this fic, but it was fun nonetheless.

Not yet. I have another deadline to meet at the moment, however I think there will be one in the pipeline a little later. :)

It is interesting how frightening being stalked is and the fact that the stalker is a non-sentient toy is even more unnerving.You have done a really good job capturing the mood of "being unnerved."And I have to admit that the quack at the end makes me wonder just how far this duck will go to be noticed.As for Hermione teaching him a lesson ... I doubt it. I think if he ever connected the duck torture to his words, he would simply become angry about it and use even more cutting words the next time. If she wants to create a behavioral change in him, she'll have to be very sly about it.

I'd love it if there was to be a sequel. Our little Gryffindor princess can be a tough opponent when she wants to.

Indeed! And, having now had a bath (during which time you sent your response) - filled of course with Chamomile, Bergamot and Lavendar (well, the latter certainly!), I kept a close eye on my own little yellow rubber duck that always sits on the edge of the bathtub ... quackers or what?!
