I am a 20-something-year-old who admits to not knowing or having everything figured out, beta, foodie, bibliophile, and dabble in art. Most days I may be found in the kitchen indulging in the culinary arts.
I adore a multitude of pairings in the fandom, though I am partial to: SS/HG, DM/HP, NT/HG, PP/MB, SS/HG/LM, Snupin, and LL/HG.

Oh come on now! Does he really think he got away with something? I bet Minerva knows he is faking and is happy for him. They are both just "saving face" spotted in his case.
Response from luvsev (Author of Not This Time)
*Looks on innocently* Maybe she does. She knows just like we do that Sev needs some happiness. BTW, I liked your comment about saving spotted face. Tee hee :)
Lol! Surely, Minerva would have caught him, knowing he is the Potions master, after all. But this was an excellent answer to the prompt, my dear. Bravo!
Response from luvsev (Author of Not This Time)
If it had been any other time, I would have let her catch him, but he needed to get away with it. Thanks, Stef! :)
Very damn clever of him! I like it when a plan comes together. And I like this little story!Beth

I'm really glad that you liked my little tale. Sev knew that he had to plot to get out of chaperoning, and what better of a way that to feign a muggle illness? He wouldn't have gotten away with it otherwise.
brillient! thanks

:) Thanks for the lovely review!
'Don't call me a coward'.. Snape roared at Harry.'But it is ok if you call me a chicken...poxed greasey git'...Cute.
Response from luvsev (Author of Not This Time)
Tee hee, chicken poxed greasey git. I could actually see Harry saying that to him, and of course he would be apoplectic. :)
Ha ha ha! That was a creative way to get him out of chaperoning the V-Day Ball! Well done, luv!
Response from luvsev (Author of Not This Time)
As soon as NK gave me the prompt, this idea popped into my head and I could not resist writing it. :)
Always the clever. I hope swhat he has on his face won't dusgust Herm's or he would have prefered to attend the blasted ball.
Response from luvsev (Author of Not This Time)
Severus is clever. Don't worry, the potion wears off after about a half hour--he only needed it for the ruse, which is why he did not need it to last all night and disgust Hermione.
Yay, I really like this! So terribly Snape-ish! You've just got to love the guy, if only for the imagination & determination he puts into his 'plans'! Well written :-)
Response from luvsev (Author of Not This Time)
I am so glad that you liked my little drabble. I figured having him plot a way out of chaperoning a ball would keep him true to form.
SPOT the slacker! Funny! :)
Response from luvsev (Author of Not This Time)
LMAO! Your review made me chuckle. Thanks for the much needed laughs, dear! *gives chocolate to you*
So he can do more that bottle fame, brew glory, and stopper death! I knew he was a masterful guy!
Response from luvsev (Author of Not This Time)
Of course he can brew whatever he needs and fool anyone he likes. He is the Potions master for a reason. :)
And Minerva bought that? Geesh, the woman is losing her touch! ;-)
Response from luvsev (Author of Not This Time)
Hehehe. I had to let Severus hoodwink her at least once, especially since he had plans with Hermione.
Hmm, what did he imbibe? Genius!!!
Response from luvsev (Author of Not This Time)
He imbibed a little potion that he invented to get him out chaperoning. It gives the appearance of chicken pox, but none of the bothersome itching or passing it to others.
cute. even if minverva suspected, she probably wouldn't want to risk him infecting the students.
Response from luvsev (Author of Not This Time)
Indeed. She wouldn't want everyone getting what he had--chicken pox, well something that looks like it anyway.
Good plan, Snape! Hahaha
Response from luvsev (Author of Not This Time)
Thanks for the review and the shiny stars, SW. Snape is ever the plotter.
You'd think Minerva would have seen through his ruse. Of course, even if she did, what could she have done? He's not a Slytherin for nothing.
Response from luvsev (Author of Not This Time)
I was ever so tempted to have her make him attend anyway, but he deserves a break. You're right, there is not a damn thing she could have done, because he had a back up plan. He isn't the Head of Slytherin for nothing.
Sneaky Snape, haha.
Response from luvsev (Author of Not This Time)
I can't see Snape being any other way, and of course he would have a plot to get what he wants. :)
