T’was the night before Christmas, and all through the castle, not a creature was stirring… well, not the mice at least.

I love to write. A dreamer, a creator and filled with wonder, imagination and life. Sometimes I get lost in the other worlds I've read and in some I create. It's all good, I’m in good company.
“Imagination does not become great until human beings, given the courage and the strength, use it to create.”― Maria Montessori
“Our imagination flies -- we are its shadow on the earth.”― Vladimir Nabokov
“Imagination is everything. It is the preview of life's coming attractions.”― Albert Einstein
“Imagination will often carry us to worlds that never were, but without it we go nowhere.” ― Carl Sagan

I'm so glad that you did. Thank you for your kind review and the pretty stars!
lovely - nice fluffy story for Christmas. I like that you've got the house elves recycling their unwanted pressies from Hermione - thank you.

Your very welcome. LOL Yeah, well like Iddy said, It's good to be rid of them! Even if they did end up being forced to sit for an hour each Christmas and not work! LOLThank you for the sweet review.

Thank you very much.
I really, really like it. A simple act of kindness always has far-reaching, and sometimes unanticipateable, results. Hermione never guessed the results when she knit the items for the house-elves, Benni never guessed the results when she gave the items out of pity, Severus never guessed the results when he reciprocated with the perfume. Each act of kindness piling together like a snowball rolling down a hill. You know the law of sowing and reaping says that you reap what you sow, later than you sow, more than you sow. In this case, the kindness that was sown reaped more kindness, over a long period of time, culminating in a great deal of kindness for everyone - the house-elves have a party, Minerva has a helpful (rather than scornful) deputy, and Severus and Hermione have one another. Thanks for writing such a lovely representation of this principle. I don't know why we all don't take a chance and sow random acts of kindness just to see what might happen.

Thank you so much for this review. Wow. Yes, one act of kindness lead to another, and with Hermione putting off her present until Severus' birthday (unkowing at the time) was another act of kindness... Thank you for reading and the pretty stars. I really appreciate them both.
Aww, what a sweet story, dear. Thank you so much for sharing it!
