I like this.  As an opening hook, it works.  You could definitely do more with it if you were so inclined, and I would happily read it.  At the same time, it stands alone as an iconic vignette.  Nicely done.

I liked this! I enjoyed the voice of your main character, and some of the lines were quite funny. I'd read more. ;)

Actually, I like it.It reminds me of "the best made plans of mice and men..."

It ends with her unsure of what he is thinking ... and obsessing a bit like women do ...  It would be interesting to see what he thought of the evening and the interruption.  Perhaps it isn't what she expects.

Parents!  Can't live with 'em, and ya can't live without 'em.

This works very well on its own as a stand alone, but it would be fun to see what "he" was thinking about everything once he'd left her apartment.
