What I visualized was a man waking from a coma in the hospital, his love for his family being the catalyst bringing him back from the brink of certain death.I love it when so much can be said in so few words!

Interesting that love was his final "trap." I like how you juxtaposed the danger with that of things we normally see as monsters. Very well done.
