Hey all! I really hope that you read my fan fiction, The Point of No Return, and I think that it will be good. I love to write and to Beta read for people (I'm PI accredited) and I love to read and watch anything Harry Potter.

I never know what to put for these things...

I'm in my late twenties (as well as in denial about my impending thirties). I live and work in the middle of a city, and am of the firm opinion that life isn't quite as interesting anywhere else. I'm a political consultant, which can be sort of catch-all title. In my case, it means a combination of planning campaign strategies, doing the odd bit of damage control, and writing speeches and public statements. It's interesting work and I enjoy it a great deal. I also do some writing on my own, and hope someday to be a published novelist.

I've been reading fanfic since 1998, though I just started posting my own fic a year ago. My first fandom was the X-Files; my first ship, Mulder/Krycek. The list has since expanded to include Highlander, Buffy, Harry Potter, Good Omens, and many, many others. I will read almost anything provided that it is well-written and interesting. (This applies to books as well, and I'm almost always about halfway through three or four of them.)

This week, I'm listening to... The Clash -- London Calling

...and I'm reading: Rise and Fall of the Third Reich, by William L. Shirer; Lloyd Alexander's Chronicles of Prydain (I'm on The Castle of Llyr) and The Queen's Gambit, by Walter Tevis. I highly recommend all of these.

I have no idea what to say here, so...

Lucius Malfoy stole my brain after DH and he won't give it back.  I write everything from darkfic to crack to drama, with an occasional side order of smut.  I view odd pairings as a challenge, and in my head some form of Lucius/Severus (whether they are just good friends or something more) is fanon.  IJ is probably the best place to keep up with what I'm currently writing, should you wish to do so. 

I live somewhere in the USA, in a city that has hosted the Olympics.

I am absolutely obsessed with Severus Snape. My OTP is Severus/Hermione, but I will read just about anything, as long as Severus is somewhere in the story.

Althought I have been reading fanfiction for quite a few years, I recently got up enough courage to start writing and posting my own stories. There are so many writers who have inspired me to take this scary plunge into fandom. Thanks to everyone who adds to the rich tapestry of the Harry Potter universe.

I'm Emilie. I spend most of my time studying, buried in piles of books. It's not the most exciting life, but it's what i do. Other than that, I snowboard, read fanfic, attempt to write, and hang out with my man, Dave. He promises to dress up like Severus and give me detention, but i'm still waiting on that one. :(. Anyone know where I can get a snape costume? lol. Anyways, I like quick updates. I hate seafood.
