Satai DelennThese are twelve haikus I recently wrote for a writing class I am taking.

1. Trees weeping, reaching.
Summer suddenly gone cold.
Life is in despair.
2. The depths of despair,
Loneliness all consuming.
What’s the point of it?
3. Fierce warrior, I.
Standing tall, and standing proud.
Never backing down.
4. The life I will lead,
Is completely up to me.
You shall not judge me.
5. Chasing down your dreams.
Wishing for things never seen.
Will your dreams come true?
6. Snowflakes falling down.
Coldness seeps into the ground.
Loneliness everlasting.
7. Dreams come, now dreams go.
The wind screams eternally.
The birds fly away.
8. The clouds drift like sand.
Life quickly whittled away.
I look, questioning.
9. My dog is whining.
I look down, wondering why.
Is it joy or pain?
10. Talking to my friend,
I watch as the world spins by.
Where did my life go?
11. Trees weeping, reaching.
The roots and branches stretching.
Grasping at nothing.

! I appreciate the review and the opinion! Hope all is well with you.
I have just come across this and wondered why you haven't had any reviews. I thought I would rectify that by saying how good I think this is. Poetry and prose are not for everyone (I love them and write more of them myself than anything else!) so this may explain things. I personally really liked this. I hope to see more from you :-)

I thank you very much for your review.Poetry is a rather new experience for me. I was never previously inclined to delve into poetry, but a class I am currently taking seems to focus 90% of it's time to it. As a result, I find that my eyes have been opened to new ways of writing.I do have other poems I have written for class. Perhaps I'll post them here.Thank you again!
