Not a pairing I would have expected. But lovely and very sweet to read.

Author's Response: Thank you so very very much for your wonderful, thoughtful reviews. They've been making me so happy. Especially, these days, when I'm fighting another recurrence and feel lousy, your reviews lift my spirit. I need that, as my spirit not in a right place at the moment. Thank you again! ❤❤❤

Jeff,You know what's really cool for me proesnally is that this occurs on page 723 (my birthday).Since I was a kid, I've had a habit of divining books in this way I look for a special message or answer to a question on page 723 of any book large enough. (Maybe this is why I get a particular rush out of reading enormous, fat books )Here's the deal with how I set up the divination the rules, if you will: I'm not allowed to just walk around picking up books and turning to page 723. The messages appear only in books I choose to read. I don't ever look ahead (especially not in the final Harry Potter!) but I do remain aware of when I am likely to hit my page, and a conscious awareness that it's coming up always prompts me to loosely form a question or expect to find a message. The quote I'm referencing here appears at the end of a chapter, on a partial page there's not even a lot of chances to find a message on that page and it was so strong that I immediately reached for a post-it flag. It was only after marking it that I looked down to see that it was my page. And it DID answer a question so beautifully. I laughed out loud Just another crumb of my magical world view : )

This is actually their first pairing I've read. A little odd, but I still thought it was sweet. It's nice that someone can see that child-like innocence that he seems to have.

"I'm a single father. I learned to do a lot of things while Luna was growing up."--I just love how, like a bolt of lightening within all the beautifuly descriptive narrative, you capture Xeno & his past, his essence in sentences such as this one. So few ever consider what it was like for him, raising Luna alone as a single father.

'Do you see how delicate it is? How beautiful it is? You are even more delicate, even more beautiful.' and 'Luna added, "Just be gentle with him. His heart is delicate, you know.'-- among other lines, your usage of 'delicate' thematically is just.so.breathtaking. Love how Hermione notices and becomes *aware* of Xeno;-), and I'm so relieved that Luna is supportive of them, though cautious about his heart as well--yes, each is a delicate, beautiful creation:-) Our wise wonderful delicate Luna!

Thank you for writing this work of love about Hermione/Xeno--you know I'm gaga about it, and thank you for posting it here!
